Hudson County NJ Crackdown on Driving While Intoxicated Offenses

According to reports released by the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office, they have issued more than 200 traffic summons and more than 20 arrests during a two week span at the end of August. This was all done in a effort to crackdown on the number of DWI related deaths that have been occurring on New Jersey’s roadways. A grant by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration allowed for the Hudson County Sheriff’s Department to really canvas the county’s major roads between the hours of 10 pm – 4 am to try and crackdown on dui’s.
