Along with driving while intoxicated charges, many times individuals are charged with other traffic offenses related to the DWI charge. In New Jersey, most motor vehicle offenses carry points, which are assessed by the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission. If you accumulate 12-15 points on your driving record in less than two years, it could result in a suspension of your license.
