More About Colts Neck, New Jersey

Colts Neck is a fairly wealthy suburb located in Central New Jersey close to shore and is about 32 square miles in size. Colts Neck has become a popular destination to live for many former North Jersey and New York residents because of its open space, close distance to the Jersey Shore, and relatively short commuting distance to New York City. The township, which was originally a farming community, has no now largely transferred into a vast expanse of estate homes and horse farms. And its strict zoning ordinances have been able to keep out a significant amount of urban sprawl and chain retailers, and thus keeping a secluded rural feel to township while still being close to all major highways, supermarkets, and strip malls.
