Christopher Pollard is committed to vigorously defending individuals facing criminal charges and to pursuing justice in every case he handles. He is devoted to representing clients from all walks of life in matters involving DWI, shoplifting, domestic violence, harassment, and a wide range of traffic-related offenses.
Mr. Pollard earned his undergraduate degree in journalism from Rutgers University – College of Arts and Sciences in New Brunswick, New Jersey, in 1998. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor (J.D.) in 2006 from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, where he was named to the Dean’s List and served as a student mentor. During law school, he contributed articles to The Pillar student newspaper and interned with the Hon. Rosemarie Aquilina of the 54th District Court in Mason, Michigan, conducting legal research and advising on cases ranging from criminal and civil matters to contract disputes and criminal sexual conduct. He also gained experience as a summer associate in the Juvenile Justice Division of the Northampton County (Pennsylvania) Prosecutor’s Office.
Mr. Pollard was admitted to the New Jersey State Bar in 2008. Since then, he has handled thousands of municipal court cases across the state, including DWI, traffic offenses, and disorderly persons charges. He has conducted numerous trials, including securing a “not guilty” verdict in a high-stakes money laundering and conspiracy case in Middlesex County Superior Court.
In 2022, Mr. Pollard joined the Law Offices of Jonathan F. Marshall, where he continues to offer strategic and effective legal representation in DWI, traffic, and disorderly persons matters.
Outside the courtroom, Mr. Pollard is an avid tennis player, passionate about music, literature, and film.
