Attorney William Wachowski

William E. Wachowski joined the Law Offices of Jonathan F. Marshall in 2017, bringing more than 12 years of criminal law experience with him.

A native Pennsylvanian, Mr. Wachowski earned a B.S. degree in education from Temple University in 1992 and then worked as a middle-school teacher for six years before deciding that he wanted to become a lawyer. He enrolled at Rutgers School of Law, received his J.D. in 2001, and has been practicing law in New Jersey ever since.

Initially, Mr. Wachowski handled medical malpractice cases, but then turned to criminal law as a prosecutor for a number of towns, including New Brunswick, North Brunswick, East Brunswick, Piscataway, Metuchen, Edison, and Helmetta. After six years, he launched his own solo practice in Point Pleasant Beach, focusing on defending individuals charged with indictable crimes, ranging from simple drug possession to murder.

Mr. Wachowski enjoys the competitive aspect of trying cases in court and has developed a reputation for his skills in negotiating with prosecutors on behalf of his clients. “I also enjoy helping people who have found themselves in bad situations,” Mr. Wachowski says.

In his limited spare time, Mr. Wachowski is a volunteer firefighter and EMT. He also enjoys freshwater and saltwater fishing.
