Robert L. Grady brings nearly 26 years of prosecutorial experience to the Law Offices of Jonathan F. Marshall, offering clients an exceptional depth of knowledge in criminal law and complex investigations.
Mr. Grady began his legal career in 2000 as an Assistant Prosecutor with the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, where he served in both the Homicide Unit and the White Collar/Public Corruption Unit. Over his 16 years in Essex County, he prosecuted a wide array of serious criminal cases, including homicides, computer theft, narcotics offenses, child abuse, carjackings, and robberies.
In 2016, Mr. Grady was appointed Deputy Insurance Fraud Prosecutor in the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office, where he led investigations into high-level financial and insurance fraud schemes.
He later joined the Union County Prosecutor’s Office, where he was assigned to the Homicide Task Force and continued to handle complex and high-stakes criminal matters until his retirement from public service in September 2025.
Mr. Grady now applies his extensive courtroom experience and investigative insight to defending clients in a wide range of criminal and white-collar matters. His strategic perspective, shaped by decades inside the criminal justice system, makes him a formidable advocate and trusted advisor.
