Berlin Municipal Court Information

The Township and Borough maintain separate municipal courts. Each Berlin Municipal Court possesses limited jurisdiction to deal with motor vehicle summonses and misdemeanor criminal offenses like simple assault, harassment, drug paraphernalia possession, disorderly conduct and shoplifting. If you were arrested for an indictable crime of the first degree, second degree, third degree or fourth degree, your case will be sent to the Camden Superior Court for resolution. Neither of Berlin Municipal Court has authority to decide an aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, cocaine or other felonies criminal offense.

The Berlin Township Municipal Court is located 135 Route 73 South, West Berlin, NJ 08091. The court is open for walk-up business and by telephone at (856) 767-2533 Ext.2 on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Maria F. Reed is the Court Administrator. All proceedings are conducted under the guidance of the township’s municipal court judge, Honorable Nicholas F. Trabosh.

Berlin Borough Municipal Court is located at 59 South Whitehorse Pike, Berlin, New Jersey 08009. The court can be reached by calling either (856) 767-1721 or (856) 767-7777 ext. 300 between 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Monday through Friday. The municipal court judge in the Borough of Berlin is Honorable Krisden McCrink. She conducts court sessions on the first, second and third Wednesday of the month starting at 9:00 a.m. The Court Administrator is Kelly J. Foster.
